Since 1994, Christ's Ambassadors books ministry has been serving Christians by providing the best spiritual resources available in Singapore. Through working with our overseas publishers, we constantly scout for quality materials that help to develop faith for followers of Jesus Christ. We are passionate in serving God in this capacity and will continue to do so for the many years to come, God willing. Amen!
How It All Started
Christ's Ambassadors started with Ms. Elfin Ng, who had an idea to bring Christian books published by our Boston church in US to Singapore to help meet the spiritual needs of Christians locally. Mr. Edmund Wee and Mr. Lionel Loh joined her subsequently and later formed partnerships in the company. The trio worked with Discipleship Publications International (DPI) in Boston for many years. Mr. Edmund Wee left the company eventually, while Ms. Elfin Ng and Mr. Lionel Loh continue to helm the business till today, working with our new US publisher named Illumination Publishers.

A look at the different milestones of our history so far
1994-10-01
A First Windowless Office at Havelock Road
We started our business renting a tiny windowless office space at Block 93 Havelock Road. Here we strategise our business plans, selling books via book tables while focusing on overseas communications with our Boston Publisher in US.
1995-04-01
Our First Retail Shop
Six months on, we moved to our first retail shop space located at Block 6C Margaret Drive, with 90 square feet floor area. We are now in business!
1996-03-01
Moving To A Bigger Shop
The need to find a location that attracts better foot traffic drove us to set up a bigger retail shop at downtown Bras Basah Complex #02-91, where many book lovers patronise.
From Mid 1997 to 2004
The Wandering Years
After slightly over a year, the retail shop operations ceased and the business transition back into book tables set up. This proved to be a better business model for many years, setting up book tables in multiple venues islandwide for our local church congregation.
2005-01-01
A New Found Land
With the completion of the church in Punggol end of 2004, we finally ended our wanderings by settling in the building premises, with a retail shop located at the ground level.
2005-09-25
A Partnership Ended But Treasured
Our partnership with Mr. Edmund Wee ended after ten years of collaboration. Although he left the business, the memories of our working together are always treasured, and the friendship forged forever. Praise God for a great friend and business partner like him!
2014-08-27
Finally We Met At ILC Build!
After years of working with Illumination Publishers, we finally met our US supplier Paul Vasquez, along with our kingdom teacher and author Gordon Ferguson at the International Leadership Conference held in Singapore. A great highlight of our history!
From 2020 to 2022
Rebound From Covid-19
Covid-19 disrupted and halt our operations for two years. From decreased sales to damaged books brought about through termites infestations, its impact is unprecedented. Nevertheless, we managed to rebound back end of 2022, with the help from God and the support from the church's staff. Praise God we are back in business!
2023 And Beyond
Entering Into A New Digital Age
It took us a while but now it's time to move forward into the new digital age technology, powered forcefully through the emerging Artificial Intelligence transformation. We look forward to keep serving God and doing what we love in this new age digital and A.I. revolution.
Our Team
Our current team is made up of long-standing co-founders Mr. Lionel Loh and Ms. Elfin Ng. We also rope in Ms Deborah Loh, who is in her early 20s to inject fresh perspective to our business direction moving forward. Together, we aim to provide high quality Christian resources for disciples of Jesus Christ in this digital age.
